ProNav PNN300 Enhanced GPS Navigation for the Professional Driver

The ProNav PNN300, with routing based upon your vehicle dimensions such as height, width and weight, will allow you to travel with peace of mind, ensuring you are not confronted with unsuitable roads. In addition, the ProNav PNN300 now has some exciting new features including: ERN (Excluded Route Network) data, Dynamic ETA™ and FM Transmitter (see below for complete definitions), which will inevitably prove invaluable for drivers of HGV’s.

ProNav Dimension software:

Provides ERN (Excluded Route Network) data, proving routes which take into account the ‘London Lorry Ban’. Currently getting caught on an excluded road at restricted times in London can be expensive, with fines of up to £550 for hauliers and £120 for drivers. The ProNav PNN300 is the first navigation system to incorporate time based restriction data, providing vehicle specific routes avoiding the overnight or weekend HGV restrictions, also offering preferred routing and re-routing for the ‘Lorry ban’ roads. Such critical route data will help keep HGV’s on the permitted roads when travelling around London, making sure hauliers and drivers avoid penalties for route contraventions.

Dynamic ETA™

Traditionally, truck navigation systems have provided relatively inaccurate and unreliable journey times for delivery estimated times of arrival (ETAs). Using historic HGV traffic information sourced from real-time floating vehicle data, the PNN300 can analyse the day and time of travel and calculate an accurate ETA based on actual HGV traffic speeds at that time.

FM Transmitter:

For audible instructions via the user’s in-car stereo system. By simply tuning the device to a known frequency that is not broadcasting and then tuning the stereo to the same, drivers can receive turn-by-turn instructions that are easy to hear in even the noisiest environments.
