Lord Mayor's & Remembrance Sunday

The Lord Mayor's Show and National Service of Remembrance will take place in London during the weekend of 10th & 11th November, enforcing a number of route restrictions and transport closures.

These events will involve many road closures, not just on the route itself but also adjacent roads. Some of the roads surrounding the routes will be subject to lane closures and turn restrictions in order to facilitate proceedings. Mapping specialists PIE will provide route restriction information and impacted postcodes for freight operators and local authorities.

Large crowds of hundreds of thousands are expected to be drawn to the two events consisting of The Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday where the majority of road closures will be in place from 7am, and the Remembrance Day Service on Sunday where closures begin at 6am.

The 685th Lord Mayor’s Show will see almost half a million people watch the parade route covering over three and a half miles between Bank and Aldwich.

The National Service of Remembrance is centered at the Cenotaph in Whitehall but surrounding roads are also used for the event.

PIE Mapping has put together data detailing the affected postcodes, closed roads and the inaccessible areas based on day and night time restrictions. This data is available via the PIE Data Exchange ( events-this-week/) as well as TfL’s Freight Journey Planner - Users signed up to the London Lorry Control Route Approver can get this data within their membership dashboard London Lorry Control Route Approver
