If this is in your local area you need to make help by contacting the council to let them know we need more spaces!!!!!
Camden are seeking your views on a proposal to increase the amount of solo motorcycle parking space in the Hatton Garden area.
Following requests by local businesses and residents for additional motorcycle parking , they carried out a
review of motorcycle parking provision in the Hatton Garden area. The results of this review have led them to the proposal in this consultation.
Single yellow lines would be reduced in length to enable the extension of existing motorcycle bays to
ensure there would be no loss of parking space.
If agreed, they hope that this work will be completed in December 2008.
The Council will pay for the work from its Minor Parking Schemes budget.
The measures proposed are:
· Extension to the solo motorcycle parking bay outside 67 to 74 Saffron Hill by a total of 4 metres;
· Introduce a new 7-metres long solo motorcycle parking bay outside 6 to 10 Kirby Street;
· Extension to the existing solo motorcycle parking bay outside 44 Kirby Street by 0.8 metre;
· Move the 9.8-metres solo motorcycle parking bay from outside 24 Greville Street to opposite to
opposite 8 Greville Street (due to the steep incline of the road); and
· Move 9.8 metres of residents’ parking bay opposite 8 Greville Street to outside 24 Greville Street.
They would be pleased to hear your views.
Details on how to respond to this consultation are included.
