Free Parking in Residents Bays & Pay & Display?

Which residents' and Pay and Display bays are you able to park in for free? We have colour coded the background of the map to reflect whether parking is free or not. there are 19 out of 33 London Bouroughs that permit free parking on pay & display and residents bays. Note some have quirky rules such as parking between the lines not causing any obstruction to a vehicle to occupy the space.

Resident Permits

Most councils offer free parking for bikes in resident parking bays.Some Central London Councils require you to pay for a permit ranging from £15 to £45. Click to any borough page to find out more.
